DISRUPTOR Truck Set / Raw or Black
Grind King’s return to skateboarding has arrived, introducing The Disruptor.
An updated design offering the lowest kingpin clearance with the classic Grind King inverted kingpin design.
This truck will take your grinds to the next level by providing smoother and longer grinds without kingpin hang ups.
The curved edge on the inside baseplate will help keep your board from breaking.
Inverted Kingpin Technology with a built-in washer / bushing system. Soft to Medium Bushings Installed.
I really loved the trucks, brought me back to my G-5's n G-6's. Great turn, not as carrvey as ace or thunder, but I think that's because of stock bushings. I tried replacing the bushings, but the top bushing was stuck/frozen on the kingpins, and was impossible to budge. And I feel with some bones hardcore medium yellow and/or soft blue would b a vast improvement to the trucks. In order to fix that issue, I had to take and put a krux dlk inverted kingpin in the trucks; than it's not 100% perfect still, but still better than before. Either krux rigged or stock, they still out turned independent in my honest opinion.
My first pair of trucks was GK when I started skating, got these trucks and I absolutely love them!
Still haven't showed up
Thank you Donald for the innovations over the years. And thanks Radrat for turning me and others (back) on to Grind King. These are made in the USA, look and feel great. Saw a video about loud creaking but that's not been much of an issue for me. Use wax in your pivot cups if you have a problem. I like the bushings as is for now. Wish i could say more but im not a huge connoisseur. And I can't attest to their grinding yet as I'm basement skating over the winter and just doing flatground still... but you know they're going to be sick with that kingpin. Btw thanks Donald for updating the buying options with suggested deck widths. I looked all over for confirmation and Ben Degros luckily had measured his 5.5s so I knew they had an axle of exactly 8 1/8". FYI I've gone down to trying an 8.0 deck on the 5.5 and feels perfect. I wouldn't want the smaller size for an 8.0 deck, I think. In sum, this isn't a huge brand so if Grind King speaks to you and you've found this page then I'll just say they're probably what you want them to be (and more?), so buy them.
I have been riding GrindKing’s since the mid 90s and always have been my go to trucks. Nice to see them around still and the customer service is absolutely on point! Like seriously whoever I dealt with on my last order was insanely chill helped me out. Also threw in some cool stuff on this order
